Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude in Landscape Architecture and Planning from the University of Connecticut, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Flagler College, and an Associate Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Under her leadership, clients will benefit from her expertise in programming and site planning, feasibility studies, complex regulatory approval processing and managing the design process through each stage of construction, from early planning and conceptual design through construction documentation, bidding and construction administration. Distinguishing her work in the field of landscape architecture is her leadership skills and thoughtful sensitivity to contextual site design and sustainability, with a specialization in native plant design and xeriscaping. Joining a group of talented design thinkers focused on the healthcare and corporate markets, Jessica will augment these markets, as well as expand the practice offerings, bringing 15 years of experience in landscape architecture and an expertise in the higher education and independent education sectors. Our integrated practice and culture afford an ease of transition and growth to our community of professionals. ![]() The SLAM LA&P Studio has been supporting the firm’s national practice and brings the expertise and diverse portfolio and versatile skills of Associate Landscape Architect and Project Manager, Jessica Petro, PLA, ASLA, with team support from Adam Loughrey to launch the new studio. This location is part of a recent acquisition of five CBRE | Heery architectural design studios, focused on healthcare, sports facilities and justice, adding to SLAM’s existing education, corporate, healthcare and sports/recreation expertise. As part of its strategic plan to grow the integrated practice across nine offices, the S/L/A/M Collaborative (SLAM), a national multi-disciplinary design firm, has expanded its SLAM Landscape Architecture & Planning Studio (LA&P) to 1900 Grant Street, Denver. ![]()
